SugarFree Sweet potato lemon with hot cook

I will introduce you to a sweet and sour side dish with sweet potato and raisins added to the lemon. It’s a simmered dish that can also be a snack.

I’m using a 2.4L (G) hot cook.


Ingredients( Serve 2〜4)

290g Sweet potato
1/2 Lemon
2g Salt
30g Dry Raisins
40ml Water

*Salt is 0.6% of the total weight.

  • If you use dates instead of raisins, you will get a firmer sweetness.
  • If you want to make it sweet, add about 15ml of sugar.
  • You can also make lemon juice instead of raw lemon.

How to make


If you peel the skin of sweet potatoes with stripes about 1 cm wide, it will have a good taste stain and it will be easier to eat.

I will use it without peeling the skin this time.

Cut it into round slices about 1.5 cm wide.

Soak it in water to remove impurities and leave it for about 10 minutes.

If the water becomes cloudy, I’ll replace it.


Put the hot cook inner pot on the scale and reset it to zero.

Add slices of sweet potatoes, raisins and lemons and measure the weight. Add 0.6% of the total salt.

Set the inner pot on the hot cook body.

Don’t use mixing techniques.

Search by category → Boiled food → Vegetables → No.3 Boiled pumpkin → Start

It will be ready in 20 minutes.

If you don’t use hot cook

  1. Use a thick pot stove. Pack the ingredients in a pot in the same way as how to make it with hot cook. Increase the amount of water to 150cc
  2. Cover it and put it on medium heat.
  3. When the steam comes up, reduce the heat very low and simmer for 7-8 minutes. If the sweet potato becomes soft, it’s ready.

When the sweet potato becomes soft, it’s ready. If it’s hard, please add the heating time.

Cover it again, leave it for about 10 minutes, and let the taste soak in.

Serve in a bowl

The sweet potatoes are sweet and sour and delicious. The rich sweetness of raisins brings out the sweet and sourness of lemons more.

After the next day, the sweet potato will be a little hard. But raisins will be sweeter if they are chilled.

Cream cheese goes well with chilled sweet potatoes and lemon.

It tastes like sweet potato cheesecake.
